He was born July 30, 1924, near Belington, a son of the late Stewart Bowman and Pearl Evelyn (Jones) Price.

Surviving are two daughters, Patricia and husband, William Jr. Stutler, of Bridgeport and Vickie Bennett of Belington; eight grandchildren, Lisa LeFever, Jennifer Scheuvront, Traci Zimmerman, Steven Henry, William Stutler III, Kristi Barnard, Patricia Cayton and Kelly Ables; 15 great-grandchildren, Derrick Joseph Henry, Steven Andrew Henry, Rachel Elizabeth Henry, Joshua Michael Henry, Jacob Daniel Henry, Natalie Breann LeFever, Brent Taylor LeFever, Zachary Allen LeFever, Samantha Marie Jones, Emilie Paige Scheuvront, Anthoni Guy Boyles, Kylee Sue Barnard, Azlee Mae Barnard, Gibson Lee Barnard III and William Rylee Barnard; and one great-great-grandson, Levi Thomas Barnes.

He was also preceded in death by four brothers, Clifton Price, William "Bill" Price, Harold Price and Raymond Price; and by his former wife, Betty Jean (Hill) Price.

Mr. Price was a retired meat cutter and was a former employee of the Pure Food Stores in Bridgeport and Belington. He was a veteran of World War II, serving with the U.S. Navy and was a life member of Laurel Mountain Post 410, Veterans of Foreign Wars at Belington. He was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Belington.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 20, from the Schoonover-Stemple Funeral Chapel, 609 Crim Ave., Belington. Pastor David Shelton and Pastor Steven Henry will officiate and interment will follow in the Valley Bend Cemetery where Barbour County Post 44, American Legion, will confer military rites. 
Nickname Herbert Aarnold Price also went by the name of Red.

Note*He Isaac Price was born September, 1826, at the William Price homeplace on Bill's Creek, in Barbour County, son of William and Ann Poling Price. He died on January 24, 1896 at the Sugar Creek Church as he was leaving from a church service.
His physical description says he was 6' tall, fair complexion, blue eyes, and fair hair.
He was married September 17, 1846 to Mary Elizabeth Stonestreet. They had at least 11 children; and Mary died on June 29, 1866, giving birth to a child. She and the baby were both buried in the yard of the homeplace. August 23, 1867, Isaac then married Elizabeth England Kenny, and had three children. Elizabeth was born in 1839 and died July 16, 1906.
Isaac was a farmer by occupation. He enlisted in the Union Army at Philippi on August 27, 1862, as a corporal, and served in Company F, 15th W.Va. Infantry Regiment for three years. He fought in several battles and was wounded in the Batle of Winchester, in 1864 and again at the Battle of Cedar Creek, Va. on October 13, 1864. His discharge reads: "Was wounded at the Batle of Cedar Creed, Virginia, October 13, 1864 by a shell, when in the line of Battle, and had both arms carried off; at the same time he received an extensive gun shot shell wound on the left thigh." He was 38 years of age when he was discharged from the U.S. Hospital at Grafton, West Virginia, on June 12, 1865.
After Isaac was discharged, he returned to the homeplace on Bill's Creek, where he lived until his death.
