In some places she is called Sarah Brannon but I find no confirmation that she used the Brannon last name. Interestingly there is a Larrah Brannon (#1420, age 12) living in household of Eleazer Galloway in 1850.6 
Individual Note*She was Individual Note; Dr. Hoyt M. Warren, Henry's Heritage, Listed only in a list of Rosier and Anzilla children, looks like extracted from 1860 census but mistakenly listing Sarah birthdate as 1854 vice 1844, lists her as Sarah H. Brannon..6

Individual NoteShe was Individual Note; What I have is my ggrandmother was Anzilla Balkcom Phillips, b. 9/22/1874, d. 1/8/1923 in Geneva Co., Al., and is buried with her husband, John Q. Phillips at the New Hope Primitive Baptist Church in Houston Co., Al. Her brothers, Jody and Carlo, are buried in the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery in Geneva Co., Al. I understand Anzilla's mother was called "Mammie", but her real name was believed to be Sara Brannon, and she was an illigitimate daughter of a white woman and creek indian man. Anzilla had other siblings reportedly by the names of Anzadia, Archie, and Erie. Anything that sounds familiar here, jump right in.
